Please review and respond to the comments <br /> below: <br /> Per the findings of site visits performed on August 151", 2023 (per permit number W2308-002) and a <br /> preliminary site visit performed on Feb. 12t", 2023, the following comments have been provided to help <br /> improve the plan set to meet standards for completion and clarity of the construction documents(per IBC <br /> Sections 107.2 and 110.2 and IRC Section 106.1).The following comments are highlighted items of concern <br /> or discrepancies between the existing structure and the construction documents: discrepancies are not <br /> limited to the list below. <br /> General: <br /> 1. Upon preliminary inspection it was determined that some of the existing elements of the house <br /> that, per the structural drawings,will remain as existing are not of the quality associated with the <br /> assumptions made in the designer's detailed connections. <br /> a. Please provide on plan the extent of demolition and replacement of existing materials <br /> including the required demolition for work without permit done by the previous owner <br /> i. During the initial site visit performed on August 151", 2023 it was determined that <br /> the structure was re-roofed without permit. Please show how the current roofing <br /> assembly meets the prescriptive requirements outlined in Section R908 of the <br /> 2018 IRC and its subsections. <br /> 2. Before inspection, please provide the inspectors access to at least one side of the drywall by <br /> removing the unpermitted drywall additions. Please provide the locations and extent of these <br /> demolitions. Per general comment#1 above. <br /> 3.
