Create and identify mapping layers to be used in delineating bus service on existing roadways, <br />planning bus stops and facilities/amenities, and referencing bus routes in the city for the purpose <br />of land use permitting, roadway impacts, and other related activities. <br />b. Continue working with the City of Everett’s GIS department to enhance mapping abilities and <br />improve data on “Map Everett” (City of Everett GIS portal). <br />c. Provide information on the City’s open data portal on fleet electrification. <br /> <br />7. Continue to coordinate with the City of Everett Emergency Management to prepare for <br />disaster/emergency response and recovery. <br />a. Integrate the Operations Resiliency plan developed in 2024 into the Fleet Electrification Transition <br />Plan. Optimizing the battery electric segment of the fleet for maximum service availability. <br /> <br />b. Implement the findings of the Threat and Vulnerability Assessment completed in 2025. <br /> <br />c. With FTA funding secured, conduct a comprehensive Transit Emergency Management assessment <br />and plan for the implementation of the preparation and response elements of this plan. <br /> <br />FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT <br />Preserve existing public transportation facilities and equipment. <br />1. Continue to use preventive maintenance in order to keep equipment and facilities in optimal condition. <br />2. Replace aging fleet vehicles as funds become available. Between 2025 and 2030, approximately 24 fixed- <br />route buses and approximately 18 paratransit vans will be due for replacement. Two grant-funded <br />paratransit electric vans are planned as a trial initiative for assessment of future fleet development. <br />3. Continue to replace and add on-street amenities - shelters, benches, and trash receptacles. Consider <br />safety, stop usage and ridership trends when evaluating shelter replacement. <br />4. Design and engineering of a replacement maintenance facility to accommodate future growth, including <br />the maintenance and replacement of half the fixed route fleet that will continue to be zero emission. <br />5. Continue implementation and development of the Transit Asset Management Plan (TAMP). <br />6. Continued implementation and development of the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) per <br />federal requirements. <br />TRANSIT INTEGRATION <br />Integrate public transportation services into a coordinated system linked by inter-modal facilities. <br />Continue support of the multi-modal transportation center at Everett Station, including management of Everett <br />Station’s operations, maintenance, tenant spaces, and security as well as the continuing coordination of local and <br />regional transit, intercity bus, and rail services. <br />
