AN <br /> ectiOf 12: `Connection Charges.—When a per- <br /> it has been obtained for the use of water <br /> and the charges hereinafter prescribed for the <br /> service have been paid to the City Treasurer, <br /> the service will be put in as soon as practica- <br /> ble for the City to do so; the charges for such <br /> service up to and including the stop cock, <br /> where streets are not paved or planked, shall <br /> be as follows:,",, g,ov <br /> For three-quarter inch connection $ 9.00 <br /> For one=inch connection 12 M <br /> For sizes larger than one (1) inch, or where it becomes nec- <br /> essary to open a paved street, the actual cost of labor and material <br /> in laying such a service and replacing the pavement shall be charged. <br /> In such cases, and in cases of connections extending along a street <br /> on which there is no main, the cost of material and labor shall be <br /> estimated by the Superintendent and the estimated cost shall be paid <br /> to the City Treasurer by the person applying for such installation <br /> before the work of connecting the main with the property is begun; <br /> provided, that-whenever the estimated cost is not sufficient to cover <br /> the total expense for labor and material the deficit shall be charged <br /> to the property for which such installation was made and ,to the owner <br /> thereof; and provided further, that any excess payment shall be <br /> returned to the person applying for the installation.
