As part of the Grand Avenue Park Bridge Project,the City has designed piping that will convey combined sewage from this bridge north along West Marine View Drive and onto 14th Street.This pipe will connect to PSO 1.Rather than the Port and City contractors both working on these facilities in the same area,the Port has agreed to include the City's piping work in and near 14th Street in its contract. The City would then reimburse the Port for any costs associated with the City's work for an amount that's not expected to exceed $400,000. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign an Interlocal Agreement between the City and the Port of Everett Regarding Improvements to Puget Sound Outfall 1, substantially in the form attached, for the construction of combined sewer overflow piping. 125
