Grant funds <br /> must be used to benefit low and moderate-income persons, prevent or eliminate <br /> slums or blight, or meet community development needs having a particular <br /> urgency. <br /> The City awarded funds to 21 non-profit organizations totaling $1,569,517 to <br /> assist in meeting these objectives. The non-profit organizations did not fully <br /> expend their awards during the year. <br /> Description of condition <br /> The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (FFATA) <br /> requires grantees to report subawards for amounts of $25,000 or more.
