Connecting Vent Pipe <br /> Reference instructions in the termination kit. <br /> • Install the 3 in. flexible vent pipe(s) down through the <br /> chimney. <br /> • Secure the exhaust flexible vent pipe to the exhaust <br /> starting collar on top of the appliance with three screws. <br /> See Figure 5.1. <br /> For best results in cold climate be sure 3 in. flex is flush <br /> and tight to the collar slide plate assembly. Seal with <br /> stove cement or aluminum foil tape. Do not use silicone. <br /> • Use 3 screws to attach the section of inlet air vent to the <br /> inlet air starting collar on the collar slide plate assembly. <br /> See Figure 5.1. NOTE: The collar slide plate assembly <br /> may be removed from appliance to aid installation and <br /> service. <br /> For best results in cold climate be sure 3 in. flex is flush <br /> and tight to the collar slide plate assemby.
