RAISE <br /> • Install insert (without surround attached) into existing , <br /> fireplace while pulling collar slide plate assemby forward. <br /> • Install gas line into hole provided on side. See Figure <br /> 5.7. <br /> 3/16 in. <br /> • Secure collar slide plate assemby to appliance by ALLEN BOLT <br /> securing with #8 screw. See Figure 5.1. s/1s in. <br /> ALLEN BOLT o 0 <br /> • Level the appliance from side to side and front to back. <br /> Adjust leveling legs to desired vertical position so <br /> appliance is level. Use the leveling bolts included with <br /> the manual bag. <br /> • Position any excess flexible vent pipe back up into <br /> chimney without sagging. Twist and push flex vent <br /> together to shorten. <br /> • Attach surround. Follow instructions for surround GAS LINE <br /> installation included with the front.
