• • ', <br /> -3- <br /> satisfactory to the City Health Officer, and all reacting animals <br /> are marked, tagged or branded in a manner satisfactory to the City <br /> Health Officer, it shall be the duty of the Certified Milk Commission <br /> to supply such persons with a copy of the rules and regulations for <br /> the production of certified milk and certified cream and said person <br /> shall , for a period of two weeks , , deliver daily to the City Health <br /> Officer, at his offices in the City of Everett , Sundays excepted, <br /> a mixed sample of the milk or cream from the herd for which he is <br /> seeking certification to undergo examination by him. Providing <br /> the tests made of the milk or cream do show it to have conformed to <br /> the standard of certified milk or certified cream and providing <br /> said person's dairy-farm, dairy herd, utensils and general equipment <br /> for the production of certified milk conform to the rules and reg- <br /> ulations for the production of certified milk, then said Certified <br /> Milk Commission shall issue to such person a certificate setting <br /> forth the fact that his dairy-farm, dairy herd, utensils and equip- <br /> ment merit the approval of the Certified Milk Commission. The Cer- <br /> tified Milk Commission shall furnish labels , or caps at cost to be <br /> placed on and attached to each bottle containing certified milk or <br /> certified cream to be Bold and advertised as herein provided, bear- <br /> ing the words certified milk or certified cream, bottled <br /> Section 4 : No persons selling, or offering for sale , milk <br /> not certified, shall use the word "certified" in such a way either <br /> upon advertisements or upon wagons , pails , bottles , labels, caps <br /> or in any other manner so that thereby the public may be mislead <br /> into the belief that such milk is that which is generally known and <br /> sold as certified milk. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell <br /> or dispose of certified milk or certified cream within the limits <br /> of the City of Everett without first procuring from the secretary <br /> of the Certified Milk Commission a certificate setting forth the <br /> fact that said person has complied with the state law, ordinances , <br /> rules and regulations governing the production, handling and de- <br /> live.ry of certified milk and certified cream.
