• <br /> grees (50`1 Fahrenheit from thirty minutes (30) after milking until <br /> delivered to the consumer, which delivery must be made within twenty- <br /> four (24) hours from the time the milk is drawn and shall contain no <br /> adulterants of any kind and nothing added thereto or subtracted there- <br /> from without the written consent of the Certified Milk Commission of <br /> the City of Everett . <br /> Section 2 : The City Health Officer is hereby authorized and <br /> empowered and shall appoint a competent commission of three persons to <br /> be known as the Certified Milk Commission of the City of Everett ; <br /> at least two of whom shall be physicians ; none of whom shall be <br /> financially interested in the production or sale of milk or dairy <br /> products , to direct under the law, and under such rules and regula- <br /> tions as the City Health Officer may prescribe , the production, hand- <br /> ling, selling and distribution of certified milk or certified cream. <br /> The members of the Certified Milk Commission shall not be entitled <br /> to receive salary, or compensation for their services , other than <br /> their actual traveling expenses , incurred in the performance of their <br /> duties , to be audited and paid as other expenses of the Department <br /> of Health and Sanitation are audited and paid. <br /> Section 3 : Upon the filing of an application with the sec- <br /> retary of the Certified Milk Commission of the city of Everett by any <br /> person for permission to sell , offer for sale or to dispose of milk or <br /> cream within the limits of the City of Everett under the name of <br /> and as certified milk or certified cream and if such application is <br /> accompanied by a certificate from a veterinarian designated by the <br /> City Health Officer of the City of Everett or by a certificate satis- <br /> factory to the City Health Officer showing all animals in said per- <br /> son' s herd to be free from tuberculosis or other diseases of any kind <br /> whatsoever likely to deteriorate the quality of the milk and that <br /> tuberculosis free cattle are marked, tagged or branded in a manner <br />
