Consultant will discuss any proposed budget adjustments with the City in advance. 3. WORK APPROVED BY CITY AND COMPLETED (NOT INCLUDED IN PREVIOUS AMENDMENTS) As part of previous design efforts, the Consultant has completed the following tasks as approved by the City which were not included in the previous contract scope and budget: • Project management and meetings beyond number of weeks estimated in Amendment 2. • Up to four updates to Special Provisions and Division 00 specifications between 90% and 100% design to address state and city policy updates (including apprentice, subcontractor, Project Labor Agreement, and language on market conditions and reference data in contract documents). • Incorporation of Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) equipment to electrical design and coordination related to Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) backup power for 36th Street Regulator gate. • Weekly coordination and design with and for Puget Sound Energy (PSE) related to potential relocation of a 4-inch High Pressure Gas main at 3600 Smith Ave. Upon discovery of more information, the decision was made for a design modification to shift the alignment of the proposed combined sewer main. • Coordination with Snohomish Public Utility District (SnoPUD) to modify an existing guy pole location and ongoing coordination to accommodate a new PUD distribution pole, as a result of the design modification for PSE. • Addressing pre-submittal comments from BNSF Railway requiring additional documentation for design of temporary shoring within 25 feet of rail centerline even when in City right-of-way. • Addressing additional comments and discussions with WSDOT on Utility Franchise and Variance Request for Pacific Avenue Pipeline. Includes rewriting responses to some forms and edits to figures to more concisely justify the variance request, per WSDOT and FHWA request. Also includes additional deliverables incorporating WSDOT comments, including revision to casing length and addressing additional rounds of comments on traffic control plans. 4. SCOPE OF WORK (Estimate to Complete Issue for Bid Packages and incorporate Engineering Services During Construction) Completion of Bid Documents includes the following tasks: Task 2000 – Project Management The purpose of this task is to provide oversight and management of the work for all phases of the work, including contract administration, oversight of subconsultants, quality review and assurance, and periodic communication with the City.
