SNO-ISLE TECH 2O23 SMALL WORKS <br />McGRANAHAN ARCHITECTS <br />Section 0130 00, Page 2 <br />ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS <br />i. RFIs must reference a Drawing number or Specification section. RFIs shall be restricted to technical <br />questions related to the Contract Documents. RFIs submitted by the Contractor that, in the opinion of <br />the Architect, do not meet these criteria will be returned to the Contractor marked "Void" and will be <br />logged as voided RFIs. <br />j. Responses shall be marked on record drawings and specifications. <br />k. Construction photos shall be attached to the RFI as required to clarify the question being asked. <br />C. Construction Change Directive (CCD): see attached sample document <br />1. Issued in response to: <br />a. An RFI with unresolved cost impacts. <br />b. An unresolved order for minor change in the work. <br />C. Absence of agreement on Change Order terms. <br />2. Directive is issued to expedite the work and avoid delays. <br />3. Procedure: <br />a. Form provided by Architect. <br />b. Prepared by Architect and transferred to Contractor by Newforma InfoExchange. <br />C. Signed by Architect and Owner. <br />d. Contractor must proceed immediately. <br />e. Method of adjustment of Contract Sum shall be determined per General and Supplementary <br />Conditions <br />f. CO is prepared. <br />D. Change Order Proposal (COP) — see attached sample document. <br />1. Procedure: <br />a. Prepared by Architect. <br />b. May be initiated by Contractor by submitting a written notice to Architect indicating justification and <br />anticipated cost impact. <br />C. Must be on form provided by Architect. <br />d. Transmitted to Contractor by Newforma InfoExchange. <br />e. Contractor must provide cost data, utilizing only mark-ups permitted per General Conditions, and <br />submit substantiation within 14 ,days. <br />f. Each subcontractor or sub -subcontractors of lower tier must submit their cost data utilizing only <br />mark-ups indicated in the General Conditions. Attach additional breakdown and back up information <br />on their own formats. <br />g. Architect makes recommendation. <br />h. Owner accepts/rejects or asks for additional substantiation of costs or time. If accepted the change <br />will be incorporated into a change order. <br />i. COPs shall be numbered consecutively.
