SNO-ISLE TECH 2O23 SMALL WORKS Section 0130 00, Page 6 <br />McGRANAHAN ARCHITECTS ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS <br />C. Samples: Submit the number specified in individual specification sections; one of which will be retained by <br />Architect. Retained samples will not be returned to Contractor unless specifically so stated. <br />3.05 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />A. Transmit each submittal by Newforma InfoExchange. <br />B. Identify Project, Contractor, Subcontractor or supplier, pertinent drawing and detail number, and specification <br />section number, as appropriate. <br />C. Apply Contractor's stamp, signed or initialed certifying that review, approval, verification of Products required, <br />field dimensions, adjacent construction Work, and coordination of information is in accordance with the <br />requirements of the Work and Contract Documents. Submittals will not be accepted unless Contractor has <br />reviewed and approved submittal. <br />D. Transmit electronic file version of submittals to Architect by Newforma InfoExchange site. <br />E. Schedule submittals to expedite the Project, and coordinate submission of related items. <br />F. Allow a minimum of 14 days for review by Architect and consultants for each submittal, from time of receipt to <br />Architect. Complex submittals or several submittals in a short time frame will require additional review time. <br />G. Provide a priority list when submitting several submittals to the Architect in a short time frame. <br />H. Submittal sequencing should coincide with the submittal schedule and be coordinated with overall project <br />schedule. <br />I. Allow additional time when coordination with subsequent submittals is required. If there is a delay in the <br />submittal process due to coordination, the Architect will advise the Contractor. <br />J. Identify in a clear and obvious manner variations from Contract Documents. Also, identify in a clear and <br />obvious manner Product or system limitations which may be detrimental to successful performance of the <br />completed Work. <br />K. Provide space for Contractor and Architect review stamps. <br />L. When revised for resubmission, identify all changes made since previous submission. <br />M. Distribute copies of reviewed submittals as appropriate. Instruct parties to promptly report any inability to <br />comply with requirements. <br />N. Submittals not requested will not be recognized or processed. <br />3.06 ARCHITECT'S ACTION <br />A. Except for submittals for record, information or similar purposes, the Architect will review each submittal, mark <br />to indicate action taken, and return. <br />B. Action Stamp: The Architect will stamp each submittal with &uniform, self-explanatory action stamp. The <br />stamp will be appropriately marked, to indicate action taken. <br />1. "No Exceptions Noted": After reviewing, the Architect noted no deviation from the design intent <br />expressed in the contract documents.
