SNO-ISLE TECH 2O23 SMALL WORKS Section 0130 50, Page 4 <br />McGRANAHAN ARCHITECTS PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />K. Each subcontractor shall supply to the subcontractor responsible for the substrate work all necessary sleeves and <br />access doors and panels to be installed in new work. The subcontractors responsible for the affected substrates <br />shall be responsible for installing the sleeves and access doors and panels in the proper locations and shall use <br />the required coordinated sleeve and access door and panel layout drawings for their installation. <br />L. Construction Site Maintenance: <br />1. The General Contractor and subcontractors shall maintain Site in a neat and orderly manner in accordance <br />with the General Conditions of this Contract and with the requirements indicated in other spec sections. <br />2. The Contractor shall be responsible for protecting the temporary structures and construction enclosure <br />(fence) in good repair. They shall comply with security requirements to prevent the presence of <br />unauthorized persons on the site, and keep gates secured when not in actual use to ensure property <br />security. <br />M. Noise control: <br />1. Comply with all applicable state and local laws, ordinances, and regulations relative to noise control. <br />2. All construction machinery, tools and appliances shall be equipped with best commercially available noise <br />abatement devices to operate at minimum reasonably attainable noise levels, and if not so equipped will <br />not be permitted on site. <br />I <br />3. A noise level of 85 db will be considered excessive. <br />4. The General Contractor shall give the Architect and Owner a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice <br />prior to commencing any activity or operation of machinery from which the noise may be disturbing to <br />_ <br />occupants of nearby buildings. Any consequences resulting from failure to give such notice shall be the <br />sole responsibility of the Contractor. The General Contractor shall comply with any directives the <br />Architect or Owner may issue for the purpose of excluding or mitigating any annoyance or disruption due <br />to noise to occupants of the buildings, or the public in general, by the operations under this contract. <br />5. If the noise level from any equipment, operation, or construction activity is excessive as defined in <br />- <br />Paragraph 3 above and that equipment or activity is directed to be shut down, suspended and/or <br />rescheduled, the entire cost of such shutdown suspension and/or rescheduling is the Contractor's sole <br />responsibility. <br />110 <br />mcg-ARC 2120.000 February 28, 2023 <br />
