Field office. <br />K. Field staffing. <br />L. Home office expenses. <br />1.02 TEMPORARY UTILITIES <br />A. Provide means, methods, material, and labor necessary to provide all lighting, heating, and cooling, and <br />ventilation required for construction purposes. <br />1. Furnish, by methods approved by State WISHA requirements, temporary heat including fuel and power <br />and attendance as required to protect materials and work from dampness and cold and to dry out the <br />building. Include all costs for temporary heat in bid items. See Technical Sections for temperatures <br />required for work of the various trades. <br />a. Provide temporary heat required by construction activities for curing or drying of completed <br />installations or for the protection of installed construction from adverse effects of low temperatures or <br />high humidity or as specified. Select safe equipment that will not have a harmful effect on completed <br />installations or elements being installed. Coordinate ventilation requirements to produce ambient <br />condition required and to minimize energy consumption. <br />b. Except when the Contractor is authorized to use the new permanent system, provide vented, self- <br />contained, LP -gas, electric, or fuel -oil heaters with individual space thermostatic control. <br />C. Use of gasoline -burning space heaters or open flame units is prohibited. <br />2. Provide all temporary lighting as required for the work. Provide wiring for all required extension cords, <br />lighting outlets, and power outlets (grounding type), lamps, and other required equipment and <br />accessories.
