ESNW
rep. observed the contractor has over-excavated 2' below the projected grade and found dense,
bearing soil. ESNW rep. spoke with the contractor and determined that they have removed all the
concrete rubble that they had seen. The contractor then stated that they would begin to build the pad
back up to grade with quarry spalls. ESNW rep. used a '/2" steel T-probe to probe locations throughout
the building pad and observed dense, firm, and unyielding conditions considered suitable for support for
the design allowable bearing capacity. ESNW rep. will be available to observe the area when the
remaining backfill operations have been completed.
.01+ "
