EVERETT September 19, 2019 <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> Jonathan Shelton <br /> 5109 Seahurst Avenue <br /> Everett,WA 98203 <br /> RE: Public Works Permit PW 1905-036 <br /> Dear Mr. Shelton, <br /> The following items will be redlined on the landscape plan as conditions of <br /> approval for the Public Works permit listed above.These comments address <br /> planning issues only. Submission of a revised landscape plan is not required. <br /> 1. One additional street tree on the frontage along Seahurst Avenue is required. <br /> Suggested recommendation is an additional Acer rebrum 'Red Sunset' or <br /> similar deciduous tree. <br /> 2. Two trees will be required in the front yard of Lot 1, with at least one of the <br /> trees to be located along the easement access drive. <br /> 3. A landscape strip, at least five feet in width, in the front yard of Lot 1 along <br /> the north edge of the easement access drive will be required.The landscape <br /> strip shall be planted with shrubs and living groundcover; shrubs shall be <br /> planted at a density of five shrubs per 100 square feet and at least two-gallon <br /> size and at least 18 inches high at the time of planting, and groundcover shall <br /> be at least one-gallon pots spaces at least 24 inches on center. <br /> 4. One additional tree will be required in the front yard of Lot 2. Suggested <br /> recommendation is an additional Acer rebrum 'Red Sunset' or similar <br /> deciduous tree. <br /> 5. Two trees will be required in the south five-foot landscape strip in the front <br /> yard of Lot 2. Suggested recommendations are either Quercus x warei <br /> 'Nadler' (Kindred Spirit Oak), Prunus x cerasifera 'Cripoizam' (Crimson Pointe <br /> Flowering Plum),or other similar deciduous tree with similar mature <br /> dimensions. <br /> 6. A solid privacy fence on the south property line along the easement access <br /> drive is required.The fence is required to be 42 inches tall within the front 20 <br /> feet,and at least four feet tall for the remainder; six feet is recommended.
