WPCF Headworks Replacement Project Scope of Work <br />33 <br /> <br />Work Products <br /> Sketches and takeoff documents as needed to support development of cost estimates. <br />Deliverables <br /> AACEI Class 3 estimates based on preliminary design documents, including a Basis of <br />Estimate report. <br />Task 356 Headworks Intermediate Design <br />Objective: Work under Tasks 356 includes all tasks associated with developing a Class 2 cost <br />estimates based on the headworks intermediate design developed under Phase 650. <br />Activities/Approach <br /> Review the intermediate design and supporting design documentation for development of <br />the Class 2 estimate. <br /> Complete quantity takeoffs and unit pricing based on the available design details. <br /> Develop an AACEI Class 2 construction cost estimate for complete project construction cost, <br />including direct and indirect costs, contingencies, and allowances. <br /> Coordinate the BC engineering design leads to review the cost estimate and validate scope <br />and assumptions. <br /> Update the construction schedule to reflect the intermediate design scope of work. <br /> Coordinate the cost estimating group, including scheduling estimators and attending <br />coordination calls with the estimating team to field questions and discuss proposed design <br />concepts and discuss draft estimate review comments. <br />Task Assumptions <br /> AACEI Class 2 estimates a range of -15% to +20% based on intermediate design documents. <br />City Responsibilities <br /> Provide input on discretionary items and contingencies assumed for cost estimates. <br />Meetings <br /> None <br />Work Products <br /> Sketches and takeoff documents as needed to support development of cost estimates. <br />Deliverables <br /> AACEI Class 2 estimate based on the final design documents including a Basis of Estimate <br />report. <br />Task 356 Headworks Final Design <br />Objective: Work under Tasks 356 involves developing a Class 1 cost estimate for the headworks <br />design package developed under Phase 700. <br />Activities/Approach <br /> Review the final design and supporting design documentation for development of the Class 1 <br />estimate. <br /> Complete quantity takeoffs and unit pricing based on the available design details.
