WPCF Headworks Replacement Project Scope of Work <br />47 <br /> <br />appropriate electrical classification and ventilation rates for each area or room, where <br />appropriate. <br /> Task 458 Instrumentation and Controls. Document the instrumentation and control design <br />criteria. This will include instrumentation and control system requirements, applicable codes <br />and standards that will be used through the design process, a description of overall facility <br />control system architecture, control panel and programmable logic controller requirements, <br />operator graphical interface requirements, motor controls, network and fieldbus media and <br />protocols, vendor package control system interconnection requirements with the facility <br />control system, equipment tagging/numbering system, and modifications to existing site <br />security and access control as affected by the new headworks building. <br /> Task 459 Architectural. Document the code-required architectural design criteria for the <br />above-ground facilities. This will identify building type, ingress/egress, space plans, and <br />other architectural standards and design criteria. <br />Task Assumptions <br /> Design Guides will be 5 10 pages each on average and will be included as appendices to <br />the BODR. Some TMs may be combined, as appropriate. <br /> Structural and Seismic Design Criteria TM and related BODR sections will be prepared under <br />Task 310. <br /> Architectural elevations and treatments and building mechanical elements and layouts will <br />be generally deferred to the intermediate design phase. <br /> Only selected alternatives from the alternatives analysis phase will be included in the BODR. <br />Ecology may additionally be provided the Alternatives Analysis Report to meet the <br />requirements of WAC 173-240-060. <br /> The BODR will be delivered under Task 452. <br />City Responsibilities <br /> None <br />Meetings <br /> Internal meetings covered under Phase 300 <br />Work Products <br /> None <br />Deliverables <br /> BODR <br /> Design Guides for the following disciplines: process mechanical, building mechanical, <br />structural, electrical, civil, instrumentation and controls, and architectural <br />Phase 500 Site Preparation Package <br />Objective: This phase encompasses all design activities associated with the preparation of drawings <br />and specifications for a site preparation package that will be constructed by the GC/CM. The scope <br />of this package includes preparation of design documents for work that will prepare the project site <br />construction of the new headworks facility. This phase of the design and subsequent construction <br />work will be completed prior to completion of the headworks design.
