Architectural <br /> 1. The project appears to includes exposing the exterior envelope cavities for the <br /> entire building. The building is required to be insulated per WSEC Section R503.1.1 <br /> and Table R402.1.1. Attics should be provided with ventilation baffles per Section <br /> R402.2.3. <br /> ,Response: Please refer to building sections (sheet A3.0) for required <br /> insulation and ventilation baffles. <br /> 2. The shower in the new bathroom does not comply with Section R307.2. A minimum <br /> access width of 30 inches. The plans indicate an approximate clearance of less <br /> than two feet. The bathroom should be revised. <br /> Response: Please refer to sheet A2.0 for 30"x30" bathroom access width. <br /> 3. The bathrooms and kitchen should specify exhaust fans including the minimum <br /> required performance rates per IRC Table M1505.4.4(1). <br /> /Response: Please refer to sheet A2.0 ground level plan for kitchen exhaust fan <br /> performance rates. <br /> 4. The smoke/CO alarm in the hallway should be relocated closer to the bathrooms. <br /> The floor plan should specify minimum alarm clearances per Sections R314.3.1. <br /> Response: Please refer to sheet A2.0 Ground Level Plan for revised locations <br /> for smoke/CO alarm. <br /> I believe these modifications address the Correction Notice.
