7. The project includes installation of a new wood beam. The building section should <br /> specify the minimum head clearance of 7 feet. See Section R305.1. <br /> Response: Please see A2.011 and A3.016 for the location of the new wood <br /> beam. The building section A3.016 indicates a head clearance of 8'4"from <br /> finish floor to bottom of wood beam. <br /> 8. The project includes exposing the exterior envelope cavities for the entire building_ <br /> The building is required to be insulated per WSEC Section R503.1.1. Where required, <br /> insulation complying with current code should be provided per Table R402.1.1. Attics <br /> should be provided with ventilation baffles per Section R402.2.3. <br /> Response: All new exterior walls and framed floors are insulated per 2018 <br /> WSEC. Please see A3.015 for building section of the addition. <br /> 9. Insulation should be specified for all new exterior walls, floors, slab-on-grade, and <br /> ceiling/roof cavities per WSEC Table 402.1.1. <br /> Response:All new exterior walls and framed floors are insulated per 2018 <br /> WSEC.
