A copy of <br /> the old SnoCo Field Assessor record is attached; note that the SnoCo records only <br /> provide a record of the building condition for the purpose of assessing taxes and do not <br /> substantiate a permitted condition_ The drawings are also not consistent with <br /> photography available on Google Earth and the real-estate website Redfin.com. The <br /> drawings should be revised to show all unpermitted work as new work; all new work is <br /> required to comply with the current code requirements. Alternatively, the drawings <br /> should show the removal of unpermitted work and restoration of the building to its <br /> previous legally permitted condition. See IRC Sections R102.7.1, R105.1, and R113.1. <br /> Response: The drawings are revised to show all unpermitted work as new <br /> work. The scope of alteration and addition work complies with the current <br /> code requirements. Please see sheets A2.0 and A3.0 <br /> Architectural: <br /> 4. The project includes removing and replacing the wall coverings on the exterior <br /> walls of the house and the ceiling. A note should be included <br /> requiring the alarms to be hardwired, interconnected, and provided with back-up battery <br /> power as required. Alarm clearances should comply with Section R314.3 Item 4 and <br /> Section R314.3.1. <br /> Response: Smoke and CO alarms are provided per IRC Section R314 & <br /> R315. The location of alarms is shown in sheet A2.0. General Plan Note <br /> section includes note requiring the alarms to be hardwired, interconnected, <br /> and provided with back-up battery per R314. <br />
