October 7, 2025
To Everett City Council Members,
On behalf of Funko, I am writing in support of the Downtown Improvement District (DID)
renewal.
For nearly 30 years, the DID has provided an invaluable service to keep our downtown clean,
safe, and inviting. As a tenant that occupies space in Downtown Everett, we support pooling
resources to fund the Downtown Improvement District and find great value in the services.
Cleaning sidewalks, removing graffiti, and removing trash on a daily basis is not only a business
necessity, but also an essential ingredient for encouraging civic pride and community
engagement.
The DID is critical for helping small businesses, property owners, and non-profits survive and
thrive. This program has proven to be a worthwhile community investment and deserves your
continued support for its renewal.
Sincerely,
Sarah Martinez
SVP, People, Culture and Workplace Solutions
Funko Inc.
