15th through 19th Years 1 —5/6 days 22 <br /> 20th through 24th Years 2 days 24 <br /> 25th year and Beyond 2 2/25 Days 25 <br /> Department Directors and Program Directors shall accrue vacation at the rate of <br /> two (2) days per month or 24 days per year up to 24 years of service. Upon the <br /> completion of the 24th year of service, Department Directors and Program <br /> Directors shall accrue vacation at the same rate as Appointive Officers. <br /> No vacation credit accrual will be allowed in excess of two (2) full years accrual. <br /> EXCEPTION: Effective January 1, 1986,no employee shall have vacation credit <br /> accrual in excess of thirty(30) days at the time of his/her retirement/separation. <br /> In the event that an employee elects to retire, all vacation accrual in excess of <br /> thirty(30) days must be taken prior to the effective retirement/separation date or <br /> be lost to the employee. <br /> No vacation shall be granted until the Appointive Officer has completed a <br /> minimum of six (6)months of City service without prior permission of the Mayor. <br /> Section 5: Severability. <br /> The City Council hereby declares that should any section,paragraph, sentence, clause or <br /> phrase of this ordinance be declared invalid for any reason, it is the intent of the City <br /> Council that it would have passed all portions of this ordinance independent of the <br /> elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid. <br /> Section 6: Repealer. <br /> Ordin. •- No. 805-81 and all other ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> i a <br /> -449 i i cr4,14Tt.. <br /> .4111M—Mr!'
