• <br /> and the southwest quarter of Section thirty-two (32) , Township <br /> twenty-nine North, of Range five (5) .Gast, to the city limits of the <br /> city of .Everett; thence in a northwesterly direction by right-of-way <br /> to be acquired, or on platted streets, to a suitable location for a <br /> high level reservoir in the city of r;verett; together with the nec- <br /> essary or convenient gates , houses , structures , bridges, connections <br /> and appliances necessary, proper, or convenient for the completion <br /> and efficient use and maintenance of such diverting cants, head works , <br /> settling basin, and pipe line, said pipe line to be designed to carry <br /> water by gravity from the intake to the said high level reservoir; <br /> all to be paid for as in this ordinance hereinafter set forth. <br /> Section 2: That the city council of the city of .Everett <br /> does hereby specify and adopt the system or plan described in this <br /> ordinance as the system or plan for acquiring, constructing, and <br /> maintaining of a pipe line to supply the city of Averett and its <br /> inhabitants with water, and the method of raising funds for paying <br /> therefor. That the estimated cost of said proposed system or plan <br /> is the sum of six hundred thousand (3600,000) dollars. <br /> Section 3: That it is proposed that the said city of <br /> .Everett, for the purpose of providing funds for the payment for the <br /> system or plan proposed, as set out in Section 1 of this ordinance, <br /> shall issue its general negotiable coupon bonds in the sum of six <br /> hundred thousand ($600,000) dollars, payable twenty years from date <br /> thereof, and bearing interest at a rate not exceeding five per cent <br /> per annum payable semi-annually, said bonds being payable out of a <br /> sinking fund to be created, as provided by statute. All said bonds <br /> shall be of the denomination of five hundred ($500) dollars each, <br /> and shall be payable at the fiscal agency of the state of Washington <br /> in the city of New York, and shall be issued in conformity to and <br /> as provided by the provisions of Chapter 150 of the Session Laws of <br /> 1909 of the state of Washington, and the Acts amendatory thereto, <br />
