Inadvertent Discovery of Archeological Resources The contractor shall obtain a copy of the Inadvertent Discovery Plan from the Project Owner. The contractor shall keep a copy of the inadvertent discovery plan for the project on the work site at all times. The contractor shall immediately stop all work if human remains, cultural, or archeological resources are discovered in the course of construction. The contractor shall follow the inadvertent discovery plan in dealing with the human remains, cultural, or archeological resources. Project Signs The Contractor shall display Ecology’s logo in a manner that informs the public that the project received financial assistance from the Washington State Stormwater Grant Program. Utilization of Minority and Women Business Enterprises All bidders are encouraged to utilize certified minority-owned and women-owned businesses to the extent possible in the performance of this contract. All prospective bidders or persons submitting qualifications should take the following steps, when possible. 1. Include qualified minority and women's businesses on solicitation lists. 2. Assure that qualified minority and women's businesses are solicited whenever they are potential sources of services or supplies. 3. Divide the total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by qualified minority and women's businesses. 4. Establish delivery schedules, where work requirements permit, which will encourage participation of qualified minority and women's businesses. 5. Use the services and assistance of the State Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) and the Office of Minority Business Enterprises of the U.S. Department of Commerce, as appropriate. All prospective bidders must provide a list of the MBE/WBE subcontractors they intend to use during the project. This list must be provided with the bid package. Revised 3/25/15
