Method of noise and exhaust control for each pump and generator. <br />9. Measures to prevent movement, support or anchor bypass piping including but not <br />limited to thrust and restraint block sizes, placement of barriers and strapping. <br />10. Staffing plan demonstrating compliance for continuous monitoring. <br />2.03 ODOR CONTROL PLAN <br />A. Contractor shall include an odor control plan which includes deodorizers and neutralizers <br />that control H2S levels at the suction and discharge points below Lower Exposure Limits <br />of 0.010 PPM and no greater than 100 odor units unless otherwise required by local, <br />state or federal standards. <br />B. The plan shall include the following: <br />1. Manufacturer’s product data for all equipment, materials and chemicals to be <br />provided <br />2. Liquid Phase Chemical Addition: <br />3. Nitrate Addition: Dosing agents shall include nitrate salts that are non-flammable and <br />release no hazardous substances into the collection system. Approved products <br />include Pro Chem Neutron, TryOxyn, Nutriox, Bioxide AE or approved equal. <br />4. Manufacturer recommended dosing (gallons per hour), reaction time, and location for <br />dosing for each bypass operation based on preliminary monitoring of pH, <br />temperature, dissolved H2S concentration, and strength of hydrogen sulfide odors. <br />C. Air/Odor Monitoring and Control: <br />D. Activated Carbon Treatment System <br />E. Activated Carbon Treatment Product Information <br />F. Odor Control at Suction Manholes: Site plan, and proposed method of air ventilation <br />including tenting or tarping. <br />G. Odor Control at Discharge Location: Site plan and proposed method of air ventilation <br />including tenting or tarping. When diversion piping discharges through a maintenance <br />hole cover, install a temporary cover sized to accommodate the piping and cover the <br />annular space to minimize escape of odors and noise. <br />H. Contractor response plan to address odor complaints. <br />2.04 CONTRACTOR'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN (ERP) <br />A. Submit an Emergency Response Plan prior to mobilization to the Work site. <br />1. Include provisions for an industrial hygienist and a standby subcontractor for the <br />cleanup of exterior and building interior spaces that might be affected by a spill or <br />overflow. <br />2. The cleanup subcontractor shall be certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning <br />and Restoration (IICR) and follow the Standard and Reference Guide for Professional <br />water damage Restoration IICRCS500 for the cleanup of Category-3 Gray/Black <br />Water. <br />3. Identify solid and liquid material disposal facilities.
