City of Everett 01 12 16 - 3 <br />Port Gardner Storage Facility - Facility Construction Package WO# UP-3525 <br /> <br /> <br />01 12 16 - 3 WORK SEQUENCE <br />B. Pre-MOP Meeting: Meet with the Owner and Engineer before submitting an Area <br />specific MOP to discuss the nature of the demolition work activity or tie-in, and to gather <br />any information necessary to complete the MOP. Contractor shall prepare the meeting <br />agenda, including a draft of the subject MOP and distribute at least two days prior to the <br />meeting. <br />C. Action Submittals: <br />1. Submit Area specific MOP for review at least 30 days prior to proposed start date. <br />Obtain “No Exceptions Taken” review action for each MOP submittal no less than <br />14 days prior to initiating the work. Include the following in the MOP submittal: <br />a. Start and end date and time. <br />b. Description of work to be accomplished. Identify proposed sequence and <br />timing of events, details on system isolation, safety measures, and how <br />demolition and construction activities will be completed within the specified <br />constraints. <br />c. Identify equipment and tools required, including, but not limited to, temporary <br />piping, valves, pumps, generators, temporary ventilation, temporary lighting, <br />cranes, hoists, lifts, bulkheads, etc. <br />d. Identify facilities, systems that will be affected by the activity including, but not <br />limited to: potable water, utilities, etc. <br />e. Identify tasks associated with the MOP that are proposed to be completed by <br />Owner. <br />f. List Contractor’s primary and secondary points of contact and phone numbers <br />prior to and during activity. <br />D. Submit information for the temporary power installation and integration with active plant <br />systems. Detailed information includes single line diagram, cable routing, and cable <br />protection at crossings. <br />E. Include anticipated MOPs in Baseline Progress Schedule and monthly Progress <br />Schedule updates specified in Section 01 32 16. <br />F. Include MOPs as a recurring agenda item for the construction progress meetings <br />specified in Section 01 31 19. <br />1.7 SEQUENCE AND SCHEDULE OF CONSTRUCTION <br />A. General: It is the Contractor’s responsibility to coordinate and plan the construction <br />activities to integrate each schedule constraint into performance of the overall Work. <br />B. The listing of sequencing and scheduling constraints below is not comprehensive. <br />Review all Contract Documents and Attachments for sequencing and scheduling <br />constraints. The list does not substitute for the Contractor's coordination and planning <br />for material and equipment delivery schedule and order of work to complete the work <br />within the Contract Times. <br />1. Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control (TESC) shall be installed prior to any site <br />disturbing activities and properly maintained throughout construction.
