Since the lengths will differ from the bid item, can this be changed to a <br />lump sum bid item instead? <br />Bid Items 26 and 27 will not be revised to Lump Sum. Actual lengths determined <br />through Contractor’s design and as accepted by the Engineer will be paid on a <br />unit price basis. <br />Q17 - Please see the attached substitution request form for Distech products to be used <br />in section 23 09 00. <br />Any other submitted manufacturers to be considered as “or equals” when <br />allowed under the specifications, and those for which a substitution request is <br />made, will need to follow the substitution procedures provided in Section 00 72 <br />00 General Conditions and Section 01 25 00 Substitution Procedures. Or equal <br />determinations and substitutions requests will be considered after contract <br />award and will not be considered during the bid period per Section 01 25 00, <br />Paragraphs 1.6.B and 1.7.C. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
