14 <br />Section 12: <br />Vacation shall be taken as follows: <br />A. Four (4) hours minimum for extra board and straight run operators. <br />B. The entire a.m. or p.m. work piece for split-shift operators. <br />C. Inspectors and maintenance personnel may take vacation in a 2 hour minimum block with <br />written approval of the employee's supervisor. <br />D. Paratransit Operators may take vacation in a 2 hour minimum block at the beginning or <br />end of their regular work shift. <br /> <br />Section 13: <br />Except when an employee has signed for a vacation day on his/her day off (due to a new markup), <br />employees may not remove their name from the vacation roster during the three (3) day period <br />prior to the vacation date without written notice to and express approval of the Director of <br />Transportation Services or designee.
