25 <br />D. The transferring employee will start at the bottom of the seniority list in the new job class. <br />E. An employee who transfers to another position may request to voluntarily return to their <br />previous classification at any time following the completion of their new probationary <br />period. A vacancy must exist prior to a request being granted. The employee who returns <br />will be paid according to the wage schedule to which they are returning. <br /> <br />F. Employees seeking to transfer to Paratransit Operator after January 1, 2025, must have <br />a DOT medical card that is valid for one-year. The requirement to obtain a DOT medical <br />card shall be extended to any newly hired employee. <br /> <br />Section 17: <br />Bus Maintenance Persons who apply for the classifications Paratransit Operator or Bus Operator <br />shall be eligible for time and service points in accordance with Civil Service rule 4.61. <br /> <br />Section 18: <br />The City of Everett will not mandate any vaccine for employees covered by this bargaining <br />agreement unless it’s required by state or federal mandate. <br /> <br />Section 19: <br /> <br />Any employee involved in a serious event that makes further operation of a vehicle or directing <br />the movement of vehicles unadvised may request to have the remainder of that shift off with total <br />compensation for the day with management approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
