See also NGA -39. <br />This amendment proposes to increase the budget authority to meet the accounting requirement under Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) <br />Statement No. 68 for the Police and Fire LEOFF 2 plan contributions that the State of Washington makes directly to the Department of Retirement Systems on <br />behalf of the City. Employer rate contributions increased to 5.38% effective July 1, 2025. <br />
