• <br /> Section 5: It shall be unlawful for any owner, contractor <br /> or other person engaged in the construction of any building or <br /> structure, or otherwise, to do or permit to be done any work of any <br /> kind whatsoever which will cover or conceal in any way electrical <br /> equipment, until the same has been finally inspected. The inspector <br /> shall have the power, when by him deemed necessary for the careful <br /> inspection of any electrical equipment, to remove anyeonstruction <br /> which prevents a careful inspection' on his part. <br /> Section 6: Any person owning or in the possession of any <br /> building or other structure, within the city of Averett, shall <br /> permit the inspector to enter and inspect said building and premises <br /> once in every three months , or oftener if deemed necessary by the <br /> city electrician, for the purpose of ascertaining whether the elec.. <br /> trical equipment in or about said building or other structure, or <br /> premises, is in conformity with the provisions of this ordinance; <br /> and it shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant of premises where <br /> electrical equipment is used, or to be used, or for any person whatso- <br /> ever, to prevent or interfere with the inspector in the discharge <br /> of his duties under this ordinance; provided, however, that an assist- <br /> ant inspector shall, upon request of the owner or occupant of said <br /> premises , exhibit his authority to make such inspection, which shall <br /> be signed by the city electrician. <br /> Section 7: Whenever an application is made to the city <br /> electrician for re-inspection of any work heretofore. dong,prior to <br /> the passage of this act, or when any application or petition is filed <br /> or made to make extensions , alterations or repairs, amounting to <br /> sixty per cent (60 ) of the wiring or other electrical work already <br /> done and completed in said building, then, and in that event, the <br /> entire work shall be subject to re-inspection by said city electrician <br /> and when any sufficient number of extensions are made upon any work <br /> completed after the passage of this act, which in the aggregate shall <br /> equal sixty per cent (6070) additional wiring or electrical work <br />
