Exhibit A <br /> <br /> <br />Justification <br />Due to deeper base isolation bearings, the top of cap elevations at piers 1 and 4 were lowered. This <br />change necessitates use of longer anchor bolts to connect the utility support assembly shown on <br />Plan Sheet S40 to the Pier caps. <br /> <br />Contract Time: There is no added contract time due to this change. <br /> <br />Added Electrical Conduit Across Shore Ave. – New Item 218 <br />The Contractor is directed to install 60 LF of an underground 3” diameter Schedule 80 PVC conduit <br />across Shore Ave to accommodate future PUD’s service needs. The compensation for procurement <br />and installation is a lump sum amount of $10,756.77. <br />Justification <br />Snohomish PUD requested installation a 3’ diameter PVC conduit across Shore Ave for future <br />installation of underground wires. The City granted this request. <br />Contract Time: There is no change to the Contract time due to this addition. <br /> <br />Retaining Walls Underdrain – New Item 219, 220, and 221 <br />This new bid items are compensation for installation of Walls RW1 and RW2 underdrain <br />system including procurement and installation of 6” diameter perforated PVC underdrain <br />pipe, geotextile for underground drain, and gravel backfill for drain as shown on Plan Sheets <br />S54, S55, and S56.
