41110 <br /> Section 4: The city attorney is hereby required to make <br /> a report to the city council of the city of Everett on the first of <br /> each month of all persons appearing as witnesses during the preceed- <br /> ing month in the Superior Court of Snohomish County in all cases in <br /> which the city of Everett is a party and who are entitled to witness <br /> fees from said city, and said fees when approved by the city council <br /> shall be paid in the same manner as other claims against said <br /> City; provided, that in any case in said court where it is necessary <br /> to advance witness fees to any person who is required to attend as <br /> a witness for said City in said court the city attorney is hereby <br /> authorized to pay such witness fees in tb.e same manner as other <br /> expenses of his department are paid. <br /> Section 5: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> (�il(KA� <br /> Mayo r. <br /> Passed NOV 1(n 1914 <br /> 771— <br /> Attest <br /> City Cl k Y <br /> Published NOV 12 1914 <br />
