Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />that signalization improvements and luminaire foundations will be designed based on <br />WSDOT or City standard plans and procedures. <br />Infiltration Screening Analyses and Recommendation <br />Consultant will conduct grain size analysis screening of the near surface soils to <br />determine the potential for use of onsite infiltration as a method of storm water <br />management for the project. If this screening results in identifying areas with potential <br />for onsite infiltration, additional infiltration testing will be completed as additional scope <br />and is not currently included in this contract. <br />Geotechnical Engineering Report <br />Consultant will prepare a draft and final geotechnical engineering report for the project. <br />This report will contain the results of the geotechnical engineering investigation, <br />including description of surface and subsurface conditions; a site plan showing <br />exploration locations and other pertinent features; summary coring and boring logs; and <br />laboratory test results. The report will provide geotechnical recommendations for each <br />of the proposed improvements. Consultant will finalize our geotechnical report based on <br />review comments. <br />Geotechnical PS&E Coordination and Support <br />Miscellaneous Geotechnical Assistance: Consultant will provide up to 40 hours of <br />miscellaneous geotechnical assistance during the PS&E process. <br />Specification Development: Consultant will assist the design team in the development <br />of geotechnical related specifications. Consultant expects that this will include slope <br />stabilization, retaining wall, and foundation specification assistance. <br />Assumptions: <br />• The geotechnical explorations proposed herein will not be used to assess site <br />environmental conditions. <br />• All non-contaminated drilling spoils and related debris will be drummed on site <br />and transported off site for disposal by the drilling Subconsultant. <br />• All Field explorations will be conducted between the hours of 8AM to 5PM. <br />• No Geology and Soil Discipline Report will be required. <br />• No Environmental Site Assessment report will be required. <br />• Consultant will be responsible for all post drilling clean up. <br />• All required rights of entry will be provided by the City. <br />• All required street use permits will be provided by the City.
