January 14, 2026 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />To award and authorize the Mayor to sign the contract for the purchase of playground <br />equipment and installation from Landscape Structures, Inc., using the King County Directors’ <br />Association contract #22-315/City of Everett contract #2022-069, in the amount of <br />$476,169.15, including Washington state sales tax. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Weir who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING & PROPOSED ACTION ITEMS: <br /> <br />President Schwab opened the public hearing for Council Bill 2512-91. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2512-91 <br /> <br /> SECOND READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE for Everett 2044 Housekeeping Amendments to Development <br />Regulations recently adopted through the Everett 2044 Periodic Update, amending EMC <br />Chapters 14.16, 19.03, 19.04, 19.05, 19.06, 19.08, 19.09, 19.13, 19.22, 19.25, 19.34, <br />19.35, 19.38, 19.39, and 19.40 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />There following members of the public provided comment: Russell Joe. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued with Yorik Stevens-Wajda, Planning, answering council questions. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, to close the public <br />hearing for Council Bill 2512-91. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Weir who was <br />ecused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />
