January 14, 2026 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, to authorize the <br />Mayor to execute a settlement agreement for a Worker’s Compensation claim by former fire <br />Captain Barry Pomery in the amount of $95,160. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Weir who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />SETTLEMENT – WORKER’S COMPENSATION <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to authorize the <br />Mayor to execute a settlement agreement for a Worker’s Compensation claim by firefighter <br />Elliott Ward in the amount of $350,200. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Weir who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8254 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$1,798,481.35 for the period of December 27, 2025, through January 2, 2026. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8255 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $6,892,075.65 for the period ending December 13, 2025. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – WIGGUMS HOLLOW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT <br />
