January 21, 2026 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE for Everett 2044 Housekeeping Amendments to Development <br />Regulations recently adopted through the Everett 2044 Periodic Update, amending EMC <br />Chapters 14.16, 19.03, 19.04, 19.05, 19.06, 19.08, 19.09, 19.13, 19.22, 19.25, 19.34, <br />19.35, 19.38, 19.39, and 19.40 <br /> <br />Yorik Stevens-Wajda, Planning, provided an overview of the proposed ordinance and answered <br />Council questions. <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: John Mirante and Russell Joe. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Zarlingo, that this is declared <br />to be the third and final reading of Council Bill 2512-91, as amended by Amendment Sheet 1. <br /> <br />Council members provided their comments on the proposed ordinance and the proposed <br />amendments contained in sheets 1 and 1A provided from Yorik. It was suggested to take <br />Amendment Sheet 1A and other suggested comments back to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />The City Clerk was directed to call roll for the final disposition of the ordinance. <br /> <br /> AYES: Weir, Rhyne, Schwab, Burbano, Zarlingo, Bader, Tuohy <br /> NAYES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Ordinance 4156-26 adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS – 2026 CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Jennifer Gregerson provided an overview of the Charter Review and read the names of the <br />Council appointees for the Charter Review Committee: Brady Begin, Grant Harrington, Shari <br />Ireton, Tom Norcott, Zsofia Pasztor, Mason Rutledge, and Deb Williams. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to appoint Brady <br />Begin, Grant Harrington, Shari Ireton, Tom Norcott, Zsofia Pasztor, Mason Rutledge, and Deb <br />Williams, to the 2026 Charter Review Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
