<br />Lenora Regional SW Facility Division P – Proposal Nov. 2025 <br />Work Order # UP3792 SP - xlix <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />from a Contractor-supplied source in accordance with 2-03.3 of the Standard Specifications and these <br />Special Provisions. <br />The unit price shall include all costs of furnishing, hauling, stockpiling, placing, grading and compacting <br />the material in place. <br /> Roadway Subgrade Preparation <br />Measurement and Payment: Square Yard (SY) <br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit contract price per square yard shall be <br />full payment for the costs to complete the work as specified. Roadway subgrade preparation shall also <br />include the maintenance access road at the Lenora Stormwater Treatment facility, and roadside areas <br />adjacent to 1st Avenue and Lenora Street at the stormwater treatment facility. <br /> Structure Excavation Class A, Incl. Haul – Lenora Flow Split Vault <br /> Structure Excavation Class A, Incl. Haul – SW Treatment <br />Measurement and Payment: Cubic Yard (CY) <br />Measurements for bid item 34 & bid item 35 shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit contract <br />price per cubic yard shall be full payment for the costs to complete the work as specified. Structural <br />Excavation Class A and Extra Excavation Class A items include processing and screening material, if <br />required to meet the backfill materials requirements, storing and stockpiling, restoration of the <br />stockpile/staging site, haul road traffic control and signage, haul road stabilization and paving (if required <br />by the Engineer) and restoration. Removal and disposal of excavated material not used on the project <br />shall be included in this bid item and no separate payment will be made. <br />Partial payments for Structural Excavation Class A shall be made as follows: <br />1. Payment of 10 % upon completion of the following: <br />a. Approval of the excavation, haul, staging/stockpiling and storage plan <br />b. Completion of the initial haul route signing, ESC measures, and haul route stabilization <br />or paving as required by the Engineer <br />2. Payment of 60 % of the unit contract price when the excavation is complete <br />3. Payment of 80 % when the backfill and compaction work are complete and accepted. <br />4. Payment of 100 % when the haul road repair and stockpile/storage site restoration and clean- <br />up have been completed and accepted by the Engineer. <br />If the Engineer orders the Contractor to excavate below the elevations shown in the Plans, the unit <br />contract price per cubic yard for Remove Unsuitable Foundation Material will apply. But if the Contractor <br />excavates deeper than the Plans or the Engineer requires, the Contracting Agency will not pay for <br />material removed from below the required elevations. In this case, the Contractor, at no expense to the <br />Contracting Agency, shall replace such material with concrete or other material the Engineer approves. <br />Screening or processing excavated material from the site to meet the materials specifications for <br />Borrow, Granular Borrow, or other type of borrow or backfill material shall be included in the bid item <br />cost for that item and no separate payment will be made for this work. <br /> Shoring – Lenora Flow Split Vault
