<br />Lenora Regional SW Facility Division P – Proposal Nov. 2025 <br />Work Order # UP3792 SP - lvii <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />associated with submitting and obtaining written approvals from the City for use of their sites <br />and facilities. <br />2. Designing, furnishing, operating, and maintaining the pumps and pumping systems. <br />3. TV inspection, cleaning, flushing, and decontamination of the City sewer facilities following <br />pumping operations. Additional cleaning and inspections required will be at the Contractor’s <br />expense. <br />4. Providing storage tanks with sizing and design to settle and store stormwater for TESC treatment <br />system and for the discharge flow rate. <br />4. The cost for the treatment system is included under TESC treatment system bid item. <br /> Trench Excavation Safety System <br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The lump sum bid item includes the costs directly <br />allocated to the safety system for trenches and all other excavations including, but not limited to, <br />shoring, benching, bracing, excavation, sheeting, and trench box. This Work shall be accomplished in <br />accordance with Divisions 1, 2, 7, and 8 of the Contract specifications, and Project Geotechnical Report. <br />Payment per lump sum includes all equipment, materials, labor, installation, and removal, and all other <br />work required to meet the trench excavation and safety system requirements. <br /> Adjacent Utility Support <br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit cost shall include the labor and materials <br />necessary to develop temporary support plans, properly support/protect the adjacent utilities, and <br />properly backfill and bed the utilities which are exposed or affected by the project. <br /> DI Pipe for Water Main 8-IN Dia <br />Measurement and Payment: Linear Foot (LF) <br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. Unit cost per linear foot pipe measurement shall <br />be based on the slope distance from point to point. The point of beginning or ending of measurement <br />in any particular run of pipe shall be the vertical intersection of the centerline of the pipe measured with <br />the centerline of the intersection pipe, or with the beginning or ending of any new linear length of valves <br />or couplings contained within the measured length. At changes in pipe size connected by a reducer, <br />the point of measurement shall be taken as the midpoint of the reducer. <br />The unit contract price shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, tools and equipment <br />necessary to furnish, install, pressure test and CCTV inspect the pipe, restrained joints (where shown <br />on the Plans or as required by the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions), including all fittings, <br />couplings, and sleeves required for complete installation along the run of each pipe size, as shown on <br />the Plans and specified herein, and additionally, shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br />1. Furnishing and placing of Detectable Marking Tape (tracer wire) above the pipes. <br />2. Furnishing and placing Buoyancy Warning Tape above the pipes, as indicated on the Plans. <br />3. Installation of pipe anchors and pipe cutoff walls, where indicated on the Plans will be paid for <br />under other bid items and are not a part of this work.
