The body of any <br /> animal that has died of such disease , or which after showing symptoms <br /> of such disease, has been killed, shall not be disposed of except <br /> as may be directed by the Board of Health. <br /> Section 3: Nothing herein contained shall be held to <br /> require the muzzling of any dog while on private premises or while <br /> on any street, alley or other public place, or in any of the places <br /> mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance, if such dog shall be led <br /> by a chain or in leash in such manner so as to prevent such dog <br /> from biting any person or animal. <br /> Section 4: Any person violating any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine in any <br /> sum not to exceed one hundred ($100) dollars. <br /> Section 5: WHARAAS, the above ordinance is necessary for <br /> protection of persons within the city of .Everett, an emergency is <br /> declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect upon its <br /> passage and publication. <br /> • <br /> ayor. <br /> Passed JUN 2 - 1914 <br /> Attest � <br /> .v <br /> ity Clerk. <br /> Published 1UN 4 - 1914 <br />
