CITY OF EVERETT BID SET <br />EVERETT STATION HVAC AND CONTROLS IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROJECT NO. 24-3201 <br /> <br />01 31 19 -1 PROJECT MEETINGS <br /> <br />GENERAL <br />1.01 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING <br /> After award of the Contract, Engineer will schedule a pre-construction conference at a date and time mutually <br />agreeable to all concerned parties. Engineer will conduct conference, record minutes, and issue copies <br />thereof to all in attendance. <br /> Attendance: Owner, Engineer, Engineer's consultants as requested by Engineer will be in attendance. <br />Require attendance by Contractor's project manager and job superintendent, mechanical Subcontractor, <br />electrical Subcontractor, and other Subcontractors, Suppliers, and parties interested in the performance of <br />the Work as necessary. <br /> Purpose: Purpose of the conference is to introduce all primary parties involved in the construction of the <br />Project and to review procedures to be followed during construction. Discussion will follow detail Project <br />Manual requirements including, but not limited to: <br /> Project Directory: <br /> Project number and title. <br /> Names, telephone numbers, and email address of the following: <br />1) Owner. <br />2) Contractor. <br />3) Engineer and Engineer's design team. <br /> Names of project managers, superintendents, and foremen and accompanying telephone <br />and FAX numbers for the following: <br />1) Contractor. <br />2) Contractor's major Subcontractors. <br />3) Mechanical Subcontractor. <br />4) Electrical Subcontractor. <br /> Communications: <br /> Channel of communications. <br /> Requirements for use of Project identification. <br /> Instructions to Contractor. <br /> Oral conversations and requirements for written backup. <br /> Appropriate Contractor-Owner communication. <br /> Requests for information from Contractor to Engineer or to Owner.
