tif„Rro- <br /> ar <br /> iv <br /> / <br /> Section 7: No hawker, peddler or canvasser shall ring any <br /> •' bell blow any horn, or use any noisy instrument, or cause any of <br /> such things to be done for the purpose of making any sales or <br /> attracting notice. <br /> Section 8: It shall be unlawful for any person to in <br /> any way misrepresent the quantity or quality of any goods, wares , <br /> or merchandise sold or offerdd for sale by him in said city, or fail <br /> to state fully to the buyer the quality or firmness of any such <br /> goods, wares and merchandise. <br /> Section 9: It shall be unlawful for any person having such <br /> license to fail or refuse, upon demand of any city official, to - <br /> exhibit such license to such officer. <br /> Section 10: revery license issued under this ordinance <br /> shall be revocable by the city council at any time for any violation <br /> of any of the provisions of this ordinance, or of any other ordinanc- <br /> es :of this city noq or hereafter passed, relating to the business of <br /> ha -rker, peddler or canvasser, and in case of revocation of any such <br /> license the unearned portion of the license fee paid shall be <br /> forfeited to the city of riverett. <br /> Section 11: Any person violating any of the provisions <br /> of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by imprisonment <br /> not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by a fine not to exceed one <br /> hundred (400) dollars , or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 12: That Ordinance No. 437 and all ordinances <br /> and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and the same hereby <br /> are repealed. <br /> Section 13: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Passed <br /> APR 21 19,14 Mayor. <br /> f <br /> Attest <br /> y e rk. <br /> Published APR 2 3 1914 <br />
