• <br /> 0 • <br /> side or street entrance of his place of business , and also upon any <br /> wagons or vehicles used by him in such business. <br /> Section 9: No junk or second hand dealer or pawnbroker <br /> shall deal with, or take or receive anything from any person habitual- <br /> ly addicted to the use of morphine or drugs, or knowingly take or <br /> receive anything from any servant or employee, without first ascer- <br /> taining that such thing is the property of such servant or employee; <br /> nor shall any such dealer receive any goods or property from any <br /> person on Sunday, or after 10 P.M. or before 7 A. M. on any other day. <br /> It shall be the duty of persons engaged in such businesses , upon <br /> receiving information that any goods or things , taken or received by <br /> them, or left with them, have been lost or stolen, to at once notify <br /> the chief of police of such fact, giving the name of the person from <br /> whom such thing was received, the time of its receipt, and such <br /> other facts as may tend to the discovery or conviction of the thief <br /> or thieves. <br /> Section 10: The act of any servant or employee of any such <br /> dealer, shall be deemed the act of such dealer. <br /> Section 11: Any person violating any of the provisions <br /> of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by imprisonment <br /> not exceeding thirty (30) days , or by a fine of not to exceed one <br /> hundred (S100) dollars , or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> Section 12: That Ordinances numbers 286q 437 , and all <br /> ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and the <br /> same hereby are repealed. <br /> Section 13: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor. . <br /> Passed _ APR 211914 <br /> Attest <br /> c t - erk. <br /> APR 2 3 1914 <br /> Published <br />
