February 25, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />There were no members of the public who spoke. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Council Member Burbano thanked Mayor Franklin for her federal immigration directive. <br /> <br />Council Member Weir also thanked Mayor Franklin for her federal immigration directive and the <br />pause on Flock cameras. She also commented on her attendance at the Delta Neighborhood and <br />Historical Commission meetings. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne thanked Mayor Franklin for the pause on Flock cameras and the federal <br />immigration directive. She also thanked everyone for their participation at the first District 2 <br />Town Hall. <br /> <br />President Schwab stated he hopes the first District 3 Town Hall will be scheduled for April. He <br />also thanked the Mayor for her leadership and the directives. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Weir, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8274 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$2,187,952.01 for the period of February 7, 2026, through February 13, 2026. <br />
