Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The scope of service includes the preparation of architectural and engineering drawings <br />suitable for a certified Everett Police Property Room Facility located at 3310 Paine <br />Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. Scope include meeting with and programming the needs of <br />the City and the Police Department Staff, prepare schematic plans, prepare for and <br />attend the pre-permit application meetingwith City, prepare Design Development <br />drawings, prepare 60% and 90% cost estimates, prepare Permit/Construction <br />documents, prepare the City permit application, and provide Construction Administration <br />for a 12,500 square foot 2-story Building Remodel/Renovation. <br /> <br />Part I <br />As-Bilt Floor Plans and Site Plans <br />• Structural engineer to review existing structural conditions. <br />• Electrical engineer to verify existing conditions. <br />• Mechanical engineer to review existing HVAC systems and equipment. <br />• Architect to measure existing conditions and draft the as-built conditions. <br /> <br />Part II <br />Programming <br />• Pre-Design meetings with clients to confirm program for each space. <br /> <br />Part III <br />1. Schematic Design <br />• Create Schematic plans. <br />• Schematic design meeting with Client. <br />• Schematic design review meeting with Client to review client feedback on <br />Schematic plans. <br />• Revise and develop floor plans, sections, and exterior elevations. <br />• Pre-permit - Application meeting with the City. <br /> <br />2. Design Development <br />• Design Development coordination with owner. <br />• Finalize design plans. <br />• Develop floor plans, sections, exterior elevations, initial interior elevations, and <br />initial specifications.
