12 <br /> <br />ARTICLE 9 - SALARY SCHEDULE <br /> <br />EMT <br />Any personnel other than a Firefighter/Paramedic or a non-classified Paramedic assigned to an aid car or medic <br />unit shall receive 5.00% above first-class firefighter wage per hour over and above his/her regular pay for each <br />hour assigned such duties. Officers working out of classification on an overtime shift on the aid car will not receive <br />EMT pay. <br />2026 Salary Schedule <br />Effective January 1, 2026, the salary schedule for the classification of Firefighter is increased by 3.75%. <br />2027 Salary Schedule <br />Effective January 1, 2027, the salary schedule for the classification of Firefighter is increased by 4.0%. <br />2028 Salary Schedule <br />Effective January 1, 2028, the salary schedule for the classification of Firefighter is increased by 3.75%. <br />2029 Salary Schedule <br />Effective January 1, 2029, the salary schedule for the classification of Firefighter is increased by 100% of the CPI- <br />U for Seattle/Tacoma/Bellevue for June 2028 with a minimum of 2% and a maximum of 5%. <br /> <br />Salary Progression <br /> <br />CLASSIFICATION TITLE RANGE NO STEP A STEP B STEP C STEP D <br />Firefighter 04-117 6,880 7,855 8,836 9,819 <br />Firefighter Driver/Engineer 04-018 10,801 <br />Firefighter/Paramedic 04-020 11,488 <br />Fire Captain 04-021 12,274 <br />Deputy Fire Marshal 04-021 12,274 <br />Medical Services Officer 04-022 12,961 <br />Asst.
