<br /> Greely St. Water Quality Retrofit ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS January 2026 <br />WO No. UP3817 SP - 10 <br /> <br />CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br />GREELY STREET WATER QUALITY RETROFIT <br />WO NO. – UP3817 <br />NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Greely Street Water Quality Retrofit project will be received at <br />the office of the City Clerk, 1st Floor Everett Municipal Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 <br />p.m. on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026. At the appointed time, all bids/proposals will be opened and read aloud <br />publicly via live streaming, or bidders may attend the bid opening in person at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Suite 9E, <br />Everett, WA 98201. The link to view the live streaming bid opening can be found at: <br />https://everettwa.gov/319/Procurement. <br />The engineer’s estimate for this Project is $560,290. <br />The project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct a <br />stormwater treatment facility, along with associated pipe and structures, and other such appurtenances and <br />performing all Work as required by the Contract Documents. <br />It is anticipated that this project will be funded in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology. Neither the <br />State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or any <br />subcontract resulting from this solicitation for bids. <br />Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to <br />Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", <br />"Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents <br />with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sourc es, and a <br />free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail <br />notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not <br />register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on -line plan room for <br />addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at (425) 258-1303 should you require <br />assistance with access or registration. <br />All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond or <br />certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, all <br />in accordance with the bidding documents. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond (and a one hundred <br />percent (100%) payment bond, as may be required in the bidding documents), on form(s) provided by the City, <br />will be required of the successful bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the Contract. <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder <br />may withdraw its Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in the Contract <br />Documents.
