An ordinance directing the mayor and city clerk to deliver warrants in various amoants and drawn on various condemnation funds hereinafter designated, to the city treasurer, for the purpose of paying judgments against said funds, and providing for the transfer of the balance remaining in said various funds to the general fund of the city of Everett, and declaring an emergency. WHEREAS, there are now a number of unpaid judgments of record in the office of the clerk of tb Superior Court of Snohomish County against the city of Everett and against the various condemna- tion funds hereinafter mentioned, and WHEREAS, said judgments are drawing interest, and there are sufficient funds to pay said judgments, and WHEREAS , the city of Everett has advanced various sums of money for the benefit of the various condemnation funds and is entitled to be reimbursed for said advancements, NOW THEREFORE, TAU CITY OF .LVER TT DOES ORDAIN: Section I: That the balance remaining in the "Maple Street Condemnation Fund", as provided by Ordinance No. 732, amounting to $277.10, be , and the same is hereby authorized to be transferred to the General Fund of the city of Everett. Section 2: That the mayor and city clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to issue a warrant to the city treasurer on the"?wenty-third Street Condemnation Fund" , as provided 1Low,„, ,,„‘ b y Ordinance 7 o. 879, in the sum of $1.26 in payment of the outstand- ing judgments of record against said fund.
