Section 13: No person shall permit to stand or use, drive or propel, in any public place, in the night, any vehicle used for the purpose of conveying passengers , whether for hire or not, with- out having attached thereto, near the front, two (2) white lights of sufficient candle power to be clearly visible for at least one hundred (100) feet in front of such vehicle, said white lights so fixed as to show red lights to the rear, visible from the rear for a distance of at least one hundred (100) feet. Section 14: No person shall ride, drive or propel any automobile , motorcycle or other motor vehicle without having attached thereto a bell, gong, or whistle in good working order, and suffi- cient to give warning of the approach of said vehicle or machine, nor shall the driver thereof fail or neglect to sound such device as a warning upon appraching any other vehicle or pedestrain, or upon appraching any street intersection, or before passing around a corner, provided that it shall be unlawful for any person while driving or operating any automobile, or other vehicle, on any street, alley or public place within the city of Everett to use or sound what is known as the "Klaxon Horn" , or other similar device; pro- ' vided further, that the prohibition herein contained shall not apply to or be construed as prohibiting the use of such horn on the vehicles , apparatus or ambulances of the Police, Fire, or Health and Sanitation Departments of the city of Everett when responding .FF, a r 3'itt „*. ,;: ,�f� x 1 r� R,.� '"^;,x€= ,gym . �i 'i �;„,�Z'}»�a�`r aa, .z. .
